Born Solutions provides several types of services to organizations that are either currently using SharePoint, or are looking to implement or evaluate SharePoint.

The Born Solutions Process

This initial meeting is to get a sense of your business requirements and to exchange ideas on how SharePoint could play a role in improving your business processes. After a vision workshop we would typically deliver a proposal that would give you clear vision of how things could move forward.

1 - Vision Workshop

This is where one of our consultants would spend time with your team to analyze your requirements and to discuss and demonstrate approaches and solutions. And the end of this process detailed specifications, general design, and time-lines would be provided. At the same time you would decide on the scope of the project and perhaps break the deliverable into phases.

2 - Requirements Gathering

Once the requirements have been determined, prototyping can begin. Through the use of prototyping, requirements can be refined during a review process and the design of components can be finalized.

3 - Prototyping

Throughout the development process, alpha and beta versions of components will be made available to your team to use and test. This will allow for early feedback that may affect changes to the design.

4 - Development

Once the system or a component of the system is to be released, one or a group of pilot users would be selected to perform a test of the system in a production environment. After a successful pilot the system would be rolled out to remaining users.

5 - Deployment and Testing

After an agreed upon period of time where the system has been used, acceptance of the system will be concluded.

6 - Acceptance

Depending on the complexity of the system formal training for users may be required and Born Solutions can help either "train the trainer" or perform the end-user training.

Furthermore, if you don’t’ have your own SharePoint administrator you can engage us in a service contract.
